I am Rev. Carlene B. Duke. It is my pleasure to congratulate you and your fiance on your decision to wed. A wedding ceremony is an outward statement of your very personal commitment of love and devotion to one another.
For many years I was a professional wedding photographer. I became an ordained minister in 1996. I enjoy providing this service to people of all cultures and faiths. I continue to enjoy learning more and more about the various marital traditions that couples practice. Whether you chose to have a big bash or a small romantic ceremony, I would be delighted to assist you in any way you need.
It is my goal to put you at ease during your ceremony and express heart felt words of love that represent your beliefs and life style.
All of your ideas regarding your ceremony are discussed in detail. My responsibility is to make sure that the words spoken during your ceremony reflect what is most meaningful to you. It is my wish that the tender loving promises you make to one another on your wedding day will remain fresh in your mind always.
You may obtain a marriage license from your local County Recorders Office. The license is valid for use for 90 days. On the day of your wedding you will give that to me so I can fill in the necessary information and sign it. You may also select two witnesses to sign it. The document requires one witness. I will return it to the Recorders Office for you.
